各方面にその活躍の場を広げる柔道整復師ですが、さらに2006年4月、医師の診療報酬の改定が行われ、この改正によって、病院などの医療機関に勤務する「医療系国家資格者」は、一定の条件を満たせば理学療法士（PT）としてみなされ病院等に勤務出来ることになりました。
一定の条件と言うのは、
�￣親梓錺螢魯咼螢董璽轡腑鵑亡悗垢詬�論、評価法に関する基本的内容を含む研修会の受講
��「医療機関において常勤であること」
��「医師の下で当該療法を実施する」と言うものです。
研修会は、「日本運動器リハビリテーション学会の行う運動器リハビリテーションセラピスト研修」または「全国病院理学療法協会の行う運動療法機能訓練技能講習会」となっています。（平成20年8月5日現在、講習会は不定期で実施されていない場合もあります。各協会発表のものを参照ください）
みなしPTとして診療報酬の算定の対象となるのは

�４埜郢奸⊇擺埜郢�
＊はり師やきゅう師は含まれません。
理学療法士さん達があつかう全ての疾患と言うわけにいきませんが、運動器外傷後のリハビリテーションとしは学校で学んだことも役に立つし、開業準備としても良いと思います。
